First Article Tryouts

Plasco's APPLICATIONS LAB (PAL), offers four (6) Boy injection molding presses for first article tool tryouts. Small Lot Material Purchases

Plasco can provide as little as 50 lbs. (1 bag) of various resins for purchase to run mold trials. We stock hundreds of engineering resins and can usually draw from our stock, at no additional cost to you, for first article samples. Our quick turn-arounds on minimum orders for custom materials is also an added benefit.

Material Shrinkage Values

Knowing how hard it is to obtain accurate shrinkage values for the molds you are building, Plasco has developed the following list of material shrink values:

SHRINK VALUES FOR VARIOUS PLASTICS

PLEASE NOTE: These shrinkage values are based on data we regard as accurate and complete. As with any polymer shrink value; changes in processing, gating and part geometry can affect the value. We highly recommend you contact the material supplier of choice, your customer, or consider a mold trial in our shrink test mold for accuracy. Plasco shall accept no liability to claims or losses of any nature as a result of using this data.
